Which Solar System?

Solar power is changing our world faster than we know it and in doing so saving homes, families and businesses thousands of Rands in energy bills every year.  We have developed the links that bring these benefits to you.

We have established our company after building strong links with Solar Beam, to provide a complete solution for our country’s growing energy concerns.  We all know that the cost of energy is rising fast, but the alternatives can invariably fall into one of two categories; either too expensive, with lengthy paybacks; or cheap products high on promises but low on results.

We believe we can do something different.

We wanted a solution for South Africans that would neither compromise quality or performance.  Both should be inseparable from the decision of investing into solar energy.  Quality of the product ensures longevity, returning a longer payback and yielding better financial savings and reductions in carbon emissions.  The performance likewise ensures a quicker payback, something that a lot of customers respond to.

The hard choice was to find a solar system that would be both reliable, affordable and manufactured in South Africa, not some expensive import designed for Europe and their climate conditions. This is apart from some poor quality systems been dumped in South Africa at rock bottom prices and then massive premiums added to the bottom line.

Solar Beam was the first choice, a fine high quality solar system that is affordable and backed by an impressive five- year warranty.  It is a system that can be independent, or  pre-feed your existing geyser should there be an increase in hot water demand.

Solar Beam has manufactured its solar geysers and collector panels in its Durban factory for over thirty years, and has installed these systems in other country’s that experience the same climate conditions as ours. These solar systems have a relatively quick payback of just 4-6 years with this payback getting shorter as the cost of electricity increases.
